At the time of this writing, the Tennessee Titans are in dire need of a wide receiver. Hell, I don’t know if there’s even anyone still on the market that’s going to make a difference for this team. It’s Calvin Ridley, and then it’s “Bryce Oliver WR2” season. With all signs seemingly pointing towards the selection of Cam Ward at number one overall, that means the Titans should be looking to bolster the receiving corps later in the draft. I’m not sure how willing they’ll be to address the position at 35 given the dire need at edge rusher too, and with some supreme edge rush talent still likely available at that spot. But, if they do look receiver at the top of the second, a guy like TCU’s Jack Bech could be in play.
Bech is coming off of a 1,034-yard nine-touchdown season for the Horned Frogs. He first caught my eye when he was announced as an invitee to the 2025 Senior Bowl. I was enamored by his tape against SMU, and he lived up to the billing in Mobile, playing tough consistent football all week long. His week was capped off with some late game heroics in the Senior Bowl that Saturday. With time dwindling, Memphis Tigers legend Seth Henigan found Bech for the go-ahead touchdown to win the game. Bech was playing in honor of his brother Tiger, who was slain in the New Years Day attack on New Orleans. Bech was named the MVP of the Senior Bowl, and it was one of the few times I’ve ever made that trip to Mobile when the game felt huge. It was a moment I’ll never forget, and it just furthered my opinion that he’s one of the more underrated receivers in this class.
