“Potential,” “traits,” “trajectory,” and “development” have all been important football buzzwords when it comes to the drafting of UCLA edge rusher Femi Oladejo. But, as is the case with many a Day 2 prospect, it’s what you have to shoot for in order to see the vision behind the pick. What’s on the surface with Oladejo is raw, and it’s the reason many believed him to be an early Day 3 prospect. Obviously, the Titans thought otherwise. They’re looking for guys that are wired a certain way and can grow into more than they currently are. That’s all well and good. It’s when you start looking into the traits and potential that you see with proper development, Oladejo could find himself on a trajectory towards being a solid contributing edge rusher.
