Why Jaylen Harrell is my Favorite Titans Draft Pick
Michigan EDGE Jaylen Harrell may have been the last draft pick for the Tennessee Titans, but I don't think that means he won't be an impact player.

The Tennessee Titans spent their final pick of the 2024 NFL Draft on an EDGE defender out of Michigan in Jaylen Harrell. I love this pick. I kind of work in the offseason in a haphazard manner. At the start, I am just trying to watch the Senior Bowl players and watching limited tape while I am inputting and looking at data. I use the Titans Fit Ratings to also change up priority or find new players to put on my radar. One of those guys that moved up in priority for me was Jaylen Harrell.
I even made sure towards the very end of Stoney’s evaluation process, like days before the PFF guide was done, to say hey, I’d watch Jaylen Harrell if I were you. Just a lot of things that signaled he would be on the Titans list of players pretty highly. It’s hard to put faith in a seventh-round draft pick to make an impact, but much like James Williams, I just have this feeling about Harrell turning into something. At the very least, turns into something more than the former fourth round draft pick, Rashad Weaver. There’s going to be a lot of gushing and positive things in today’s newsletter, but just know that I am being realistic about why he was available in the seventh round and my expectations.
