The Tennessee Titans have been on an emotional rollercoaster over the last two weeks of the 2024 NFL season. After an emotional win over the rival Houston Texans, bringing tears to owner Amy Adams Strunk’s eyes, Tennessee was walloped by a desperate Washington Commanders team, 42-19.
The now 3-9 Titans felt like they were “hungover from success” following the game in Washington, according to Jeffery Simmons. Nevertheless, the Titans, now 2-3 in their last five games, host the Jaguars in just their third divisional game of the year. Tennessee should have quite a lot of confidence going into Sunday’s matchup, as Jacksonville boasts just a 2-10 record and are losers of five straight. Backup QB Mac Jones will also get the start for Jacksonville, as Trevor Lawrence is done for the year after taking a brutal hit against the Houston Texans.
