Welcome to the first installment of Two-Tone Blue Dudes 2.0! The first of many, many articles where I take some data and trends and apply to prospects a grade based on how close that prospect fits the Titans front office profile.
As always, I encourage you to watch the tape over really clinging to this as fact, but if you don’t have access, I do a mix of both in these sections. What I see on tape, what the data shows, and what the trends are. This is not a metric that predicts success, it is to predict prospects that may be high on the Titans draft board compared to their peers at that position. For instance, it predicted Burks would be the most likely wide receiver the Titans would draft. They did. Success!
This year I am experimenting with other positions. Mainly I have focused on WR and with a new set of coaches and new positions, I am sure there will be some growing pains, but let’s see what the data tells us in regard to everyone’s favorite NFL Position: Safety!
