The Titans were close to trading Derrick henry to the Baltimore Ravens. Should they have done it?

I don’t personally know Dan Pompei or anything, but he definitely dropped a bomb on the Titans fan base this week. Intentional or not, his piece on Derrick Henry’s career and future in the NFL sparked many debates and in-fighting in the Titans universe. It all came down to one paragraph:
DeCosta agreed to the framework of a trade with Tennessee general manager Ran Carthon — a fourth-round pick that could have become a third had Henry reached certain production levels. However, others in the Titans hierarchy apparently were not on board with the deal, so Henry played out the season in Nashville.
There is more to the article and this particular situation than just that, but that has been the focal point of the conversation. Today, I am going to lay out the obvious, give my opinion, and hopefully provide differing insight into this entire situation. I am not here to tell you how to root or who to root for, but I am going to give very strong viewpoints that are my own, not meant as some declaration or directive on how all fans should act.
