How The Next GM Can Be Different
The Tennessee Titans, barring any news breaking between no and Tuesday, should be nearing the end of round one of their General Manager interview process. Just a quick reminder of where the GM interview process currently stands:
Interviewed Thursday: Monti Ossenfort, Ryan Cowden. Both internal candidates.
Interviewed Friday: Ran Carthon, Director of Pro Personnel for the 49ers. Glenn Cook, Assistant General Manager/Vice President of Player Personnel for the Browns.
Interviewed Saturday: Ian Cunningham, Assistant General Manager for the Bears. Quentin Harris, Vice President of Player Personnel for the Cardinals.
Interviewing Tuesday: Malik Boyd, Senior Director of Pro Personnel for the Bills.
Declined Interview: Adam Peters from the 49ers
This accounts for everyone on the initial interview list that was put together over last week. I will profile a few of my favorite candidates this week, but today I want to focus on three areas where the GM can be better than Jon Robinson: Getting faster, getting taller, and getting healthier.
