Ah, SHIT - my bad, guys. You caught me daydreaming! I am so sorry. I’ll try to be professional here today.

If you’re looking to me to sow seeds of hope, brothers and sisters, I’m afraid I’m going to disappoint you. This matchups tilts Lions in just about every facet. On defense, the Lions have been playing a lot of man (Cover 1, single high safety). We saw what happened when the Bills shifted to more man in the second half against the Titans last week. It forces generally tighter window throws, and with the current protection woes the Titans have, it also forces the offensive line to hold up long enough for Titans receivers to win those 1:1 match-ups. What’s the old football adage? The coverage can’t hold forever! Well, these Lions corners may only have to hold for a fraction of a second before the right side of the offensive line caves in. It’s a YUCKO matchup.
