Guys to Watch: Jaguars at Titans, 12/8/24
The Jacksonville Jaguars head to Nashville for a date with the Tennessee Titans as two of the worst teams in the league collide.
Whether you want to hear it or not, Titans fans, there are some parallels between the 3-9 Titans and the 2-10 Jaguars. Both franchises are dealing with the consequences of a shoddy roster. Both franchises are shooting themselves in the foot with execution problems. The difference is that the Titans actually fired the GM that had three inexplicably bad draft classes, and the guy who’s making the calls in Jacksonville is still hangin’ around. Hey, who knows? Maybe Brian Thomas Jr. will turn things around for him.
Nonetheless, destiny has brought these two teams together for a football game on Sunday. The Titans are 3.5-point favorites, and honestly, they’re in a spot where they need to really blow this team out to get back on track and win back some of the good will they earned after upsetting the Texans the week before that atrocity in Maryland last week. I didn’t get to watch nearly as much Jags tape as I wanted to this week (I’m out of office traveling this week and will be visiting the in-laws by the time this is released). But, I did have a few observations from what I was able to watch.
