Film Friday: Tyjae Spears Is the Future and the Future May Be Now

Revisiting my initial evaluation of Tyjae Spears and whether or not it's translating to the NFL level.

I love Derrick Henry. I want to get that straight right here and now. He’s one of my favorite Titans of all time, and it’s been one of the great pleasures of my 37 years on this Earth so far to get to watch him mow people down and put them in the dirt. If you listened to this week’s episode of Football & Other F Words, I’m with Mike all the way on this one. If no one’s going to shell out some serious dough for Henry, bring him back. Let him get the records - 10,000 yards, 100 touchdowns, etc. - in the two-tone blue.

But, I’m also with Zach. What we are seeing in the Titans backfield is reminiscent of what we saw when Marcus Mariota eventually yielded the torch to Ryan Tannehill.
