I’m glad no other receiver news has popped up with the Tennessee Titans since Wes on Broadway tweeted out a highlight reel for Kyle Philips and asked Titans fans what they thought about him back on May 31st. *sigh* Sarcasm aside, that’s what I get for taking too long to get through the rookie class and planning my Film Friday pieces too far in advance. At least Zach and Tre’Jean had you covered with DeAndre Hopkins pieces this week. Allow me to be the guy who goes back to cover things Titans fans were talking about two weeks ago.
By the way, I promise I’m eventually going to get to the defense. I’m already working on a piece for next week as a matter of fact. If you’ve been paying attention to my work, you already know I am completely enamored by Monty Rice’s role on this team, and wanted to learn more about the responsibilities of his position…so I just casually went down a rabbit hole on the Titans defensive scheme and have a page’s worth of notes already. I would’ve run that piece this week, but I’m a man of my word, and since I said I’d break down Kyle Philips against the Giants in last week’s Film Friday, I’m going to go through with it. A man’s word is all he has here in the wild wild west, and I’m always going to do my damnedest to honor my word. So, let’s get to it.
