Woof. Tough break last night, I know. You’re probably not exactly primed for a film study on Peter Skoronski’s first three games. I get it. But, I’m always working for the next day. If I don’t have something scheduled for Friday on Thursday, I’m behind. That’s why I had to go ahead and get Film Friday done before the Titans even took the field in Pittsburgh. Plus, there’s absolutely no way I was going to get my hands on any all-22 with enough time to watch it, pull clips, edit a video, and write about the game. As for my general thoughts on the game - Tim Kelly made the most bizarre calls in critical moments of the game, Shane Bowen damn near outright refused to blitz a struggling quarterback that has a tendency to sail balls three feet out of reach of his receivers when pressured, the defensive line couldn’t stop the run or effect the quarterback, and the secondary couldn’t hold up when tested.
