Between bad luck, bad personnel, and enough “dumb shit that hurts the team” to fill your stocking with this holiday season, it just plain hasn’t been the Tennessee Titans season that I thought it was going to be. Every week, it feels like there’s something different contributing to the Titans losing games. Folks, that’s the mark of a bad team. You know how they say “good teams find ways to win?” Well, the inverse is true as well. Bad teams find a way to lose. What’s particularly frustrating about last week’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts is that while you can certainly say special teams is the reason they lost the game, that’s letting the defense off the hook for giving up a few explosive plays that really swung the game. If the Titans had guys that could run with Alec Pierce down the field just twice, they might have won the game.
