Draft: What the Hell Happened to Drew Allar?

Drew Allar was once considered a potential first rounder. Now, we're left to wonder if he'll even get drafted. What the hell happened?

You can’t convince me that football isn’t art…that it isn’t drama of the highest order…that it isn’t poetry, even. The story of how Penn State quarterback Drew Allar went from quarterback prodigy to damaged goods reads like a Shakespearean tragedy. He reached first round…potential QB1…heights well into the 2024 season. At one point, I thought for sure that Allar would be my QB1, and I heard from other draft folks that they were flirting with the idea of Allar at QB1 as well. Now, I’ve concluded my film study on Allar and given how dramatically worse the tape looks in 2025 and that his season ended due to injury, I’m wondering if he’s even going to get drafted at all.
