Let’s take stock of where the Tennessee Titans are at here at the bye week. I know. It’s early. I don’t like the early bye any more than you do. Nonetheless, we have four games and a 1-3 start to process.
On paper, this looked like a brutal start when the schedule was announced back in May. To me, an 0-4 start was not off the table. I felt if the team could survive this stretch at 2-2, they could springboard to “feisty” status and make the wild card race interesting. So, in theory, 1-3 would be performing above my expectations, right? At the very least, a 1-3 start means the team isn’t too terribly far behind, right? So, why does this 1-3 feel so disheartening?
