While it sounds like a children's book, this is more of a cautionary tale about bad processes mixed with a bad linebacker class. No one is carrying a heavier burden on defense than Cedric Gray.

I continue on with my analysis of the Titans draft class today by focusing in on Cedric Gray. Right now, there may be no defender with more pressure on their shoulders than Gray, who is coming in with the expectation that not only is he going to start right away, but come in and have Green Dot responsibilities.
There is a lot to love about this pick of Gray in the 4th Round. It’s been pretty much praised all-around the draft nerd community as one of the best values in the draft and scouts, for the most part, praise his durability, ability, and leadership qualities. Yet, is he truly ready to step into a major contributing role that should ask a lot of him? That question and many others I will talk through today.
