When Brian Callahan takes the field Sunday against his former team, there is sure to be a lot of emotion. Callahan, who is now an NFL coaching journeyman, has had many stops along his journey, but none more impactful than his time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
From being one of the league's worst teams, to a super bowl appearance that snapped Cincinnati’s 30 year playoff doubt, Callahan has seen the highs and lows that every NFL franchise will face at some point. His first matchup against that team he, zac taylor, and the rest of the bengals coaching staff transformed is a good benchmark for where Callahan is in his own head coaching journey. Tennessee and Cincinnati come into the Week 15 matchup with sub .500 records, and a combined three percent chance of playoff aspirations. (All three percent coming by way of Cincinnati of course.) Both fan bases clearly have been disappointed by the outcome of their seasons but for very different reasons.
