As the free agent linebacker market has dried up, it has pushed linebacker to the top of my to-do list. That group, along with the safeties, were admittedly on the back burner for me. While I think the Titans could definitely stand to add a guy at each position, I thought that both would be priority in free agency. It’s not too late for a free agent safety, but man, I don’t know what the plan is at linebacker. It looks like need may dictate that they invest more heavily in the position in the draft than I initially anticipated, or they may simply elect to roll the dice with what they have. If they opt to spend a high draft pick on the linebacker, I have to get caught up on the top of this class. Let’s do it.
Obligatory note: In case I haven’t said it already, I like to space my evals out over time. So, what you’ll read today might not necessarily be my final stance on a particular prospect. These are simply my notes from watching a game or three of each prospect. All of these evals are going to grow throughout the course of the season as I watch more and more film. MORE! MORE! MORE!
