I have a few more of the ‘top 50’ caliber players to check off the list before the draft gets here. It’s funny how that works out when you don’t have a real process beyond “I’m just going to evaluate who I feel like evaluating today.” We get deep into the process and people are asking me about Keon Coleman. Buddy, I don’t know about Keon Coleman. I watched several Florida State games throughout the season, and honestly, there just wasn’t a lot there that excited me so I just kept putting him off to watch second string tight ends and right tackles. But, I have to get there eventually, so I’m taking this opportunity to catch up on Coleman and Troy Franklin. Also, given how free agency has gone so far for the Titans, I’m beginning to think I might need to put a rush on catching up on this safety class. That’s what I’m here to do today.
Obligatory note: In case I haven’t said it already, I like to space my evals out over time. So, what you’ll read today might not necessarily be my final stance on a particular prospect. These are simply my notes from watching a game or three of each prospect. All of these evals are going to grow throughout the course of the season as I watch more and more film. MORE! MORE! MORE!
